| Attach the assembled Power trucks to the Upper Motor Mounts with Flat Head 2-56 X 3/16" screws. Tighten the screws so that they just barely "bottom out" on the metal frame of the motor. These screws thread into the 2-56 holes you tapped when you were finishing the Power Truck assembly. Note that the Flat Head Screws have enough "slop' as to allow easy truck swivel and pivot. |
| Locate the two Coupler Mounting Pads/Shims on the 1/32" thick parts sheet, Photo 14. These Pads/Shims glue to the underside of the Frame as shown in Photo 15. Use a Round Head 2-56 X 3/16" screw to attach the Coupler Box to the frame as in Photo 16 |
| Photo 17 shows the completed Lowering Kit, modified Power Trucks in place with Sideframes mounted and the whole assembly ready to be screwed to the underside of the Steeplecab body. |
