| Continued From Page 1. Next, use a "flush cutter" pair of rail nippers (MicroEngineering/Railcraft) to remove the two end "posts" from the Bachmann frame, as shown in Photos 6 and 7. It is your option as to whether you want to trim back the motor contacts now, or when you do the wiring. The Contact, as shown in Photo 8, should at least be bent back to clear the frame for filing later. |
| File the remainder of the posts flush with the top of the frame as shown in Photos 9 and 10. Make certain that these surfaces are truly flush and flat so that the new motor mounts will sit flat and properly aligned. Photo 11 shows finished modifications. |
